Villa Lario Resort Mandello

We left completely in love with this hotel, I’ve been to many hotels on the lake and believe me when I tell you this one is special. First of all the service was immaculate all along they payed attention to small details that didn’t go unnoticed like providing sleepers that are my size (women’s US 5). They left daily notes when they clean the room, and from the moment we set foot at the property they went above and beyond. But what makes this property even more special is how private, secluded, and serene it is. The hotel is small enough to feel like a private villa, it has a private beach, and it’s located in very calm part of the lake making it perfect for relaxation. They offer a number of activities and will arrange everything for you. My only regret is not getting married here, we stayed here on the days before our wedding at Villa Cippressi which is just 14 mins away driving, and let’s just say I definitely felt difference between the two in terms of service and attention to detail. We’ll be back!

This was the best luxury resort experience I have ever had. The service was impeccable, our room (the Bellagio Suite) was gorgeous, and the grounds were stunning and tranquil. It was the perfect oasis to come back to after visiting the busier villages in Lake Como. The restaurant, Amandus, was also incredible. Having delicious food and wine while watching the sunset over the lake was a magical experience. Thank you Villa Lario, we will be back!
